Is it worth talking about?

What if you were going through a personal crisis that you were keeping to yourself but somehow word got out to other people and through gossip or what not about your situation, somehow everyone knew what was going on in your personal life?   What I have personally learned is that people are more than willing to share their personal views but ask very little questions in return to find out the truth or validity of the information.  You have to learn to just take it in, their concern, their advice but know that the whole story has not been given to them so the opinion that they may form is based off of very little information and not straight from the source.

What do you do when the support system at the church fails because of judgmental, hypocritical attitudes overtaking the people?  This is a hard one because when a church structure fails, then it is hard to know where to turn.  I think in the back of your mind you just have to know that the church is not the end all, be all.  These are people trying to interpret their thoughts the best they know how with guidance through the holy spirit.  Obviously with God's leading.  When someone gives you advice, pray about it and make sure that it registers with your spirit too.

Who do you look too or where do you turn for help? Speaking with a pastor is the best route to go.  A pastor doesn't become a pastor without a proven relationship with God so to speak to a person who is pretty tight and speaks often to God is a good way to go and feel pretty confident with his advice.  Although I did not personally take my own advice, looking back it would have made my situation a lot easier and smoother.  Also, talk straight to God!  It may seem like such a "go-to" answer but you have to.  It may not be today or tomorrow or a week from now that you see God's grace unfolding but hold on to the truth that it will happen eventually.  During that time is when you see all other fruits of the spirit unfolding.  Love, peace, patience, self-control, and so many other things.

The only sure thing that has been proven solid over time, is God's love!  Always seek him first in everything!  :-)

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  Matt 6:33.  When everything fails, Gods word will never change!

On a different note:

Here is a quick pic of my sister and her new Dog. Now her name has been changed to Dixie.  Cute little dog.  It is called a Cha-wini….A mix between a chihuahua and a weiner dog…hilarious name/breed!

I am so missing the warmer days of summer!  Here is a picture of a day at the beach.  We had such a great time by the pool and can not wait to go back again this year.

With that, make it a great day people!  :-)
