Sunny Saturday

Good Morning Saturday!!

We woke up this morning, everyone was in great spirits and ready to have a fun day!!

First up, cooking in the kitchen with dad!

Pancakes are the best!!

And just for kicks, squirting honey in his mouth.  When he was little, he used to eat spoonfuls of honey for a sore throat (obviously it was a hit with him)

Susan's Mickey Mouse pancakes.

And then a healthy egg bake for mom and dad.

Tom and Susan will be participating in a 5k at the end of this month so went and picked up the shirts this morning.

Here they are sporting the T!

And in the spirit of Valentines Day...

Valentines decor will be put out soon! XOXOXO

I'm going to wash that gray right out of my hair..

So, I've discovered that I 'm not even 40 yet and the grays are beginning to be more prominent.

I am so discouraged.

I took a few pictures on my camera (trying to test out the timer) and I discovered another thing, my daughter and I smile alike.  When she was younger she would always smile and it would be all teeth.  I tried to encourage her to smile a little smaller (ha, is that possible?! :-))

This picture was before date night with my husband.  Trying to work on reconciliation.

We went to Red Lobster!  I was spoiled. Imagine being barely able to buy groceries and then being treated to a 3 course dinner .  I was beside myself that night.

It's almost Valentines Day!  I can't wait to put out some decorations this weekend.  XOXOXO

The girls

I am so happy when my daughter is able to get together with family and bond.  It was no different when Susan's cousin Colette was able to come over and spend some time.

Here are some cute pics of the girls in action.

And there is my son attempting the same trick on the trampoline.

It was a great Christmas break and it is now back to normal everyday life!  I wish I had a job where I could spend more time with my kiddos and more days off with them. What am I saying, I do have a job like that now.  The next step would be stay at home mom and nothing pays the bills like good ol' greenbacks funded by the US Treadury.

Life is now!  Live it to the fullest!  :-)

Out on the boardwalk....

Down by the sea....today we drove down by the docks to take some pictures of my littles.  These are pictures I normally take at Christmas time but we were running late this year.

Some of my top favs!

And afterwards we had lunch at a corner shop.  Chicken wings were really good!  Sanford, my friends.  It's where it's at.

Good ending to the first week of Jan 2015.

Happy New Year's!!!

A new year with 365 days to make a statement and change somebodies life!

What are some of my goals?

- to make my health a priority
- to read at least 3 New York Times best sellers (I used to read all the time before I had children)
- travel on a plane somewhere (this requires money but we have 365 days to think about that one)
- to make 2 new friends and invite them to lunch a and/or dinner
- Experiment with more color on my lips and different hairstyles

New Years Eve was fun!  We didn't ring in the new year awake...we ate and conked out about 9:30.

To all. A Happy New Year!!
