Thyroid Diagnosis

A few weeks ago I posted that I was a little concerned about my health because I was experiencing extreme fatigue and bad headaches.  It turns out I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Which basically means my thyroid doesn't produce enough of a particular T hormone for my metabolism to work correctly.  It also causes several other side effects such as fatigue.  I have been on medication now for a couple of months and honestly I feel the same. I often question the medication, what is exactly is it supposed to do?  ha!  I am sure it is working "behind the scenes" internally and helping even though I can't see it or feel it.

I am still praying for a complete healing on this, it seems so odd to me for me to be diagnosed with a thyroid problem out of nowhere, so I am praying that it goes away just as quickly as it came!

Just came back from a 2 mile walk, so I am about to just relax for the evening.  Prayers, Prayers, always need em'!  <<<<<

My Son...

What can I say about my son...he is just the most adorable child I know!  He has such a great heart and I know that I can always rely on him to make his momma smile!!  :)  He just had a birthday party recently and he had a great time.  He invited some friends over from his football team and they all just hung out at a local water splash pad park and had a great day.  Below are some pictures with some friends that we spent the day with.  Happy Birthday to my 9 year old son!!

This is one of James' best buddies, Tanner.

Daytona Cubs Game!

Recently, we were able to enjoy a day at the Cubs game in Daytona that my husband's company caters and pretty much funds the day for the employees and their families.  We had such a great time.  Here are just a few pics.

Such a fun day!  Can't wait to do again next year!!

My dear son has his own paw print at Deltona High school.  He plays for the Deltona Wolves and he has done an awesome job this year!  Here's a picture of his paw print.
