She is clothed with strength and dignity….

Just some things that I am loving!

Proverbs 31:25 talks about a women's strength and dignity, she openeth her mouth with wisdom and in her tongue is the law of kindness.  vs 27.  She looketh well to the ways of her household and eateth not the bread of idleness.vs 28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also and he praiseth her.

I love this story of the virtues of a noble woman. I have been finding myself reading that verse a lot lately trying to take in each verse and remember to try and live by these verses on a daily basis.

Car deco ~ I wanted to share this new car sticker I ordered through a website online.  The site is called threehipchicks.com.  It is a monogrammed decal with chevron stripes.  I love it!  Adds a little something extra to my car.  I requested the lettering and stripes to be in grey so it would blend in to the silver paint of the car.

My latest candle scent that I am loving is the yankee candle called Christmas Cookie.  Smells just like a baked sugar cookie.  And by the end of tonight it may be completely unusable, as the wicks have almost burned down into the wax.  Love this scent!!

One last picture that I had to share was our pot of Chili. Had this tonight as leftovers as well since it has been a little bit chillier than normal.  The recipe is as follows:

4 cans kidney red beans (2 light red and 2 dark red)
2 lbs ground beef
1 bottle (32 oz) Campbells Tomato Juice
2 packets of Chili-o  seasoning

Brown the ground beef, move into the pot along with kidney beans, tomato juice and chili-o seasoning. Bring to a boil for just under 10 minutes.  Lower the temp to med and let simmer for about 15 minutes.  Serve with italian bread and butter.  Also, a dollop of sour cream can add a little extra flavor to the chili.  (my son likes ice cubes in his chili to cool down the temp when it is really hot)

And that is about it for today.  It's been a busy day so after blogging I am ready to veg.

Oh the weather outside is frightful…...

What a day, we attended yet another Christmas Parade! It's tradition to attend the Orange City parade and that we did!  Here are some other quick pictures that I was able to take within the last several days. Glimpses into our daily life.  :-)

I wanted to take this picture because Susan was given these reading glasses by my mother-in-law and I just think she looks absolutely adorable!  Mom still has her glasses from about 5 years ago and am due for a renewal prescription.

This picture was of my puffer vest that Shay always talks about on her blog (shayshull.blogspot). It was the first time that I was able to wear it this season.

This candle has the most amazing scent!  I love it!  I burn it everyday at work and it just makes the place nice and cozy.

And below are pictures of the Orange City Christmas Parade.

I thought this car was so Sue!!  She loves Hello Kitty and would she not look the cutest in this vehicle??

Our friend, Jason Sampsell who works with the Orange City Police Dept was driving this contraption with his son, Hunter.

Susan was able to find one of her friends at the parade.  Little Miss Haley.  Glad they are in some of the same classes this year.

James kept calling this girl his girlfriend.  She was in his 1st grade class. She kept telling him "James stop saying that".  Obviously she did not agree with the statement.  ha!

Me and my kiddos.  I love these little guys and aren't they ever the camera ready kiddos?  The most beautiful faces and smiles.  Love them with all my heart!

And here's a picture of Tom. Glad he was able to be at the parade.  Don't think I could ever find a person that loves me as much as Tom.  :-)

One last picture.  Susan and James in front of the christmas tree.  Love, love, love!  XOXOXO

And that is about it today folks.  I really need to go and wrap some christmas presents because paranoia has set in that every time the kids are in the house alone, they must be going through my closet and looking at all the gifts.  So here we go to alleviate some of that!

Hoping everyone has a Merry Christmas and remember Jesus is the Reason for the Season!  :-)

My daughters first dance!!

I was so excited yesterday for my daughters first dance sounded like they had a lot of fun. Will post a pic soon!

When I was younger I never attended any school dances just out of lack of friends asking although I know I would have loved to go!!

Either way I am glad my daughter had a great time.  :-)

Christmas Time: Ho! Ho! Ho!

Here is a picture of our Christmas tree!  Loving it with the burlap this year.  I feel as though I am several years behind on the burlap, but love it regardless!!

And here are some close ups of my favorite ornaments that we purchased this year.

2013 family ornament.  We purchased this from an online independent retailer and we love it!

Pretty much anything with our initial on it, I love!!

I didn't decorate the tree this year with the colored balls as I usually do but used sentimental ornaments.  I am happy with it even still.  Kind of a different look this year.  Merry Christmas!!  :-)

Blessed!!

I have been so blessed!!  Early Christmas Presents... This post may sound a little shallow but I'm proud and blessed with some special people in my life.

My mother in law gave me this nice full length mirror that I love.  Gives me a way to truly check out my outfit.

Then my dad made me this incredibly awesome table!!!

 This was the inspiration picture...

One more thing... I got my daughters school picture retaken and it turned out very nice.  We went down to the studio and had them retaken and I was very pleased!!

Today was the Christmas Parade, we had a great time. Will post pictures once I get them uploaded was able to upload this one:

What I wore:

Imagine a warm day for the Christmas Parade.  Our town decided to have a parade during the day instead of at night which it has always traditionally been so the day called for shorts and short sleeve shirt.

And that's about it today!

God is so good!  I love my Lord and saviour Jesus, so much!!!!

Tree Farm Pics

Ho, ho, ho!!!  What a fun day at the Christmas Tree Farm and I am so happy that the kids are still young enough to enjoy everything about it!

Sue had a great time trying her splits in the air!

James tried the zipline today and I was so happy that he was trying to overcome  his fear of heights!

Any chance to sit with Santa and let him know what he wants, lol!  :-)

And this was the final outcome, a scotch pine tree!

We will decorate the tree tomorrow.

Been a busy weekend so for now, it is goodbye!  Have a wonderful night!  :-)
